Terms of Service
Effective date: October 24, 2026
Welcome to WIPE. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Wiser Labs LLC, doing business as WIPE ("WIPE," "we," "us," "our"). They cover WIPE Beauty, us.iw.pe, our apps, and every website built and hosted with them (together, the "Service").
Please read Section 17 (Arbitration). It says that most disputes between us will be settled by individual arbitration, not in court, and that you give up the right to join a class action. You can opt out within 30 days.
By creating an account, publishing a site, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What WIPE does
WIPE builds a website for your beauty business from your public Instagram profile, hosts it, and gives you tools to run it, including:
- booking requests from clients;
- a reviews section and review-request links;
- a client list;
- consent and intake forms with e-signature;
- an AI assistant that answers your clients' questions using the information on your site;
- email notifications to you and your clients;
- articles, statistics and search-engine tools.
The Service changes over time. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is a main reason you pay, you may cancel and ask for a prorated refund of the unused part of your current billing period.
2. Who can use WIPE
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- You use WIPE for your business, not for personal, family or household purposes. You confirm you run, or are authorized to act for, the business whose site you build.
- Your clients who visit your site, book, sign forms or chat with your assistant are not WIPE account holders. Sections of these Terms that apply to them are marked "Site visitors."
3. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep your password and sign-in methods safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by team members you invite.
- Tell us right away at hello@iw.pe if you think your account was accessed without permission.
4. Your content and your Instagram
"Your Content" means everything that comes from you or your business: your Instagram posts, photos, videos, captions, bio, your logo, prices, services, policies, the text you add or approve, and the information your clients send through your site.
- You own Your Content. We don't claim ownership of it.
- You give us a license to run the Service. You grant WIPE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to copy, store, host, adapt (for example resize, crop, translate, reformat), display and distribute Your Content, only as needed to build, host, show, improve and support your site and the Service. This includes reading your public Instagram profile when you ask us to build or refresh your site.
- Showing off your site. We won't use your site, name or content in WIPE's own ads or examples without your permission.
- When the license ends. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for: copies in backups (deleted on their normal cycle, see the Privacy Policy), content you already shared publicly, and what we must keep by law.
- You promise that you have the rights. You confirm that you own or have permission to use Your Content, including photos of other people (for example clients in before-and-after photos), music, and work by photographers or other artists. If a client appears in a photo, you are responsible for having her consent to show it.
- Only your own Instagram. You may build a site only from an Instagram profile you own or are authorized to use. Building a site from someone else's profile is not allowed.
- Instagram is not part of this deal. Instagram and Meta are not parties to these Terms and don't sponsor or endorse WIPE. Your use of Instagram is governed by Meta's own terms.
5. AI-generated content: you review it
WIPE uses artificial intelligence to write and suggest text (for example your site's headings, service descriptions, articles, and the AI assistant's replies to your clients).
- AI can be wrong. It may misstate a price, a service, your hours, or a fact about a treatment.
- You must review it. Before you publish, and while your site is live, you are responsible for checking that AI-written content is accurate and lawful. This matters most for:
- health, safety or medical-sounding claims (for example "cures," "safe for everyone," "no side effects");
- guaranteed results, before-and-after promises, and prices;
- anything that requires a license you don't have.
- You can control it. You can edit, hide or delete any AI-written text and turn the AI assistant off at any time.
- The assistant speaks for your business, not for WIPE. Clients who chat on your site are chatting with an AI, not with you: it answers from the information on your site, and the chat tells them it's AI. It does not give medical advice. You are responsible for the information you give it.
- Once you publish AI-written content, it is treated as Your Content.
6. Booking, reviews, forms and client tools are tools; your services are yours
WIPE provides software. We are not a beauty provider, salon, staffing agency, marketplace or health-care provider, and we are not a party to anything between you and your clients.
You are responsible for:
- Your services: their quality, safety, pricing, scheduling, cancellations, no-shows, deposits and refunds.
- Licenses and rules: holding every license, permit, certification and insurance your state, county or city requires (for example a cosmetology, esthetics, eyelash-extension or permanent-makeup license), and following health and sanitation rules.
- Booking: confirming, declining and honoring booking requests. A request through your site is not a confirmed appointment until you confirm it.
- Consent and intake forms: the content of every form you use, including WIPE templates. Templates are general starting points, not legal or medical advice. Check that each form fits your services and your state's rules, and that you get the client's signature before the service. WIPE stores signed forms for you; WIPE is not a health-care provider and the forms are not medical records under HIPAA as far as WIPE is concerned. Don't use WIPE to collect information you are legally required to protect as a HIPAA-covered entity.
- Reviews: following the FTC's rule on consumer reviews and testimonials. Specifically, don't:
- post fake reviews or reviews from people who weren't clients;
- write or buy reviews;
- offer anything in exchange for a review that depends on it being positive;
- hide or "gate" negative reviews in a way that misleads clients;
- post reviews from family or staff without saying so.
- Your clients' information: using it lawfully and only for what clients gave it for; keeping it confidential; answering your clients' privacy requests; and having a privacy notice for your business (WIPE gives your site a default one you can edit).
- Marketing messages: getting each client's written consent before you send marketing texts or emails, and honoring opt-outs. Don't use WIPE to send messages to people who didn't ask for them.
- Accessibility: WIPE builds sites with accessibility basics. Content you add (for example photo descriptions) and your business's own obligations remain yours.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- break any law, or help anyone else break one;
- post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights;
- make health or medical claims you can't back up, or offer services you aren't licensed to perform;
- impersonate a person or business, or build a site for a business without its permission;
- send spam, or texts or emails without the consent the law requires;
- collect data from other WIPE sites or users, scrape the Service, or use it to train AI models;
- upload malware, probe or break our security, or overload the Service;
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission;
- sell or advertise goods or services that are illegal, or that our payment or messaging providers prohibit (for example prescription drugs, injectables offered without the required medical license, firearms, adult services, or gambling).
We may remove content, pause a site, or suspend an account that breaks these rules. When it's reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
8. Your site address
Your site lives at a WIPE address such as yourname.iw.pe (or a custom domain you connect, if offered). A WIPE address is not a domain you own. We may change it if it infringes someone's name or trademark, breaks these Terms, or is needed for technical reasons. If you connect your own domain, you remain its owner and responsible for its registration.
9. Free preview, subscription and billing
Free preview. You can build and preview your site for free, with no card. There is no free trial period: you pay when you publish.
Publishing requires a subscription. To publish your site and keep it live, you choose a paid plan and enter a payment card. Before you subscribe, the checkout page shows:
- the plan and its price ($9.99 per week, $39 per month, or $399 per year);
- how often you will be charged (every week, every month or once a year, as you choose);
- that the first charge happens today, when you subscribe (there is no free trial period);
- that the subscription renews automatically until you cancel;
- how to cancel.
Your express yes to auto-renewal. The checkout shows your plan's price and, right under it, that the plan renews automatically, every week, month or year as you chose, until you cancel online. Pressing the button directly under the price and renewal terms, which names the price and how often you will be charged, is your express consent to the automatic renewal. We do not charge you without it, and we keep a record of it. We will email you a receipt with the same information and how to cancel, in a form you can keep.
Automatic renewal. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY AT THE END OF EACH BILLING PERIOD, AND WE WILL CHARGE THE PAYMENT METHOD ON FILE THE THEN-CURRENT PRICE OF YOUR PLAN, PLUS ANY APPLICABLE TAX, UNTIL YOU CANCEL.
Cancel the same way you signed up. You signed up online, so you can cancel online, at any time, with no call, email or conversation needed (see "Cancelling" below).
Weekly, monthly and yearly plans. You pay for the whole period you choose when you subscribe: a weekly plan renews every week, a monthly plan every month, and a yearly plan once a year. Before each yearly renewal we will email you a reminder, at least 15 and no more than 45 days ahead, with the date, the price and how to cancel.
Price changes. We may change the price of a plan. If the price of your plan goes up, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before then. The new price applies from your next billing period after that notice.
Who charges you. Payments are processed by iCount. Wiser Labs LLC, doing business as WIPE is the merchant and seller of your subscription. We email you a receipt for every charge. We do not store your full card number.
Taxes. Prices don't include sales tax, VAT or similar taxes unless the checkout says so. Tax is added where the law requires.
Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we or iCount will try again and email you. Your site stays live for up to 14 days while we try. If payment still fails, your site goes offline (it is not deleted) until you update your payment method.
Cancelling. You can cancel online at any time, in the dashboard under My business → Plan & billing → Cancel. You don't need to call, email or talk to anyone. You can also cancel by emailing hello@iw.pe. After you cancel:
- you won't be charged again;
- your site stays live until the end of the period you already paid for;
- then it goes offline but is not deleted. Your content, client list and settings stay saved, and you can publish again at any time.
Refunds. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Chargebacks. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first at hello@iw.pe; we usually fix it faster than a bank can. If you file a chargeback for a charge you authorized, we may suspend the account while it's resolved.
Payments from your clients (optional). If you turn on payments, your clients can pay you deposits or full prices when they book on your site. Payments are processed by Stripe, on a Stripe account in your name, under Stripe's Services Agreement and Connected Account Agreement (stripe.com/legal/connect-account), which you accept with Stripe when you set it up. Stripe, not WIPE, verifies your identity and holds your bank details; WIPE never sees your full Social Security number, your bank account number or your clients' card numbers.
- WIPE's fee. WIPE takes no fee from your clients' payments.
- Stripe's fees. Stripe charges its own processing fees, which Stripe sets and collects from your Stripe account.
- Refunds. When a payment is refunded in full from your WIPE dashboard (including when you decline a request, or a client cancels in time for a free cancellation), your client gets all of it back.
- Payouts. Stripe sends your money to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule.
- Yours to decide and handle. You set your deposits and your cancellation policy. You are responsible for them, for refunds you owe your clients, for responding to disputes and chargebacks, and for your taxes.
- Turning it off. You can stop taking payments at any time by choosing None in My business → Get paid online. Payments already made stay in your Stripe account.
10. Promotions and referrals
Discounts, referral rewards and launch prices have their own terms, shown with the offer. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the offer's terms win for that offer. We may end a promotion at any time, but a reward you already earned stays.
11. Ending your account
- You can unpublish your site, delete it, or delete your whole account at any time in Settings or in the app. Deletion removes your sites, client list, bookings, forms and photos, as described in the Privacy Policy. Download anything you want to keep first.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, if you don't pay, or if your use creates risk or legal exposure for WIPE, our providers or other users. When it's reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your prepaid period.
- Sections that by their nature should survive (for example 4 license for backups, 12–19) survive after the account ends.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WIPE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
In plain words: we work hard to keep WIPE running and accurate, but we don't promise that:
- the Service will always be available or free of errors;
- AI-written content or the AI assistant will be accurate;
- your site will rank in Google or any search engine, or bring you a certain number of clients, bookings or income;
- emails will always be delivered, because email providers may delay or block them.
Some states don't allow some of these disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS:
- WIPE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, CLIENTS, BOOKINGS, DATA OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.
- WIPE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID WIPE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.
These limits don't apply to liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or for gross negligence or willful misconduct where the law says so.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless WIPE and its people from third-party claims, and related costs and reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from: your services to your clients; Your Content (including AI-written content you published); your breach of these Terms or of the law; or your messages to your clients. We will tell you promptly about the claim and let you control the defense, but we may join with our own lawyer at our cost.
15. Copyright complaints (DMCA notice and takedown)
We respect copyright and expect WIPE users to do the same.
If you believe content on a WIPE site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- the exact address (URL) of the material you say infringes;
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Designated copyright agent:
Copyright Agent, Wiser Labs LLC, hello@iw.pe
30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801
Counter-notice. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent with: your signature; the material removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any judicial district where WIPE may be found), and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers. We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, when appropriate.
Sending a false notice or counter-notice on purpose can make you liable for damages.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the US Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a claim goes to court instead of arbitration (for example a small-claims case, or if you opted out of arbitration), it will be heard only in the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, and both of us agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
17. Arbitration and class-action waiver
Talk to us first. Before starting a formal case, send a written description of the problem and what you want to hello@iw.pe (or by mail to the address in Section 20). We'll do the same for you at your account email. Both sides will try in good faith to resolve it for 60 days.
Binding individual arbitration. If we can't resolve it, you and WIPE agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, and not in court. A single arbitrator decides. The arbitration may be held by video or phone, or in the county where you live or do business. The arbitrator can grant the same individual relief a court could.
Exceptions. Either of us may: bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies; or ask a court for an injunction to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
Fees. Fees are paid as the arbitration provider's rules provide. For claims under $10,000 that you bring, WIPE will pay your filing fee unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous.
Class-action waiver. YOU AND WIPE MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST EACH OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim (and only that one) will go to court, not arbitration.
Mass filings. If 25 or more similar demands are filed by or with the help of the same law firm or organization, they will be handled in batches under the provider's mass-arbitration rules.
30-day opt-out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@iw.pe with the subject "Arbitration opt-out," your name, and your account email, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out won't affect anything else in these Terms.
Changes to this section. If we change this section, the change won't apply to a dispute we already knew about when the change took effect.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect (unless it's required sooner by law or to stop abuse). If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you don't agree, cancel before it takes effect, and the old Terms apply until your paid period ends.
19. Other terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any offer terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
- App stores. If you use the WIPE app, Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the Service or its support.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
- Severability. If a part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
- Force majeure. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Notices. We send notices to your account email. You send notices to hello@iw.pe and, for legal notices, also by mail to Wiser Labs LLC, doing business as WIPE at the address in Section 20.
- California users. Under California Civil Code §1789.3, California users may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.
